In addition to musical study, exposure to live performance is critical to a young person's musical development. We maintain partnerships with 37 public and private shools in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut for residency programs. Our classes are taught by a faculty of professional artist-educators and ensembles. Our performance programs draw upon a network of first-class regional artists presenting a range of Classical, Jazz, and World Music styles. All of our in-school faculty members hold professional degrees in the performing arts and/or education. Music Exploration programs include: Music in History,  The Composer's Life, What's So Grand About Opera?, Putting It Together - How Music is Made, Music Around the World.
